Further Information
History |
The house is part of a Victorian maltings originally built c. 1859 and which has undergone extensive restoration and conversion from top to toe. It is located in a secluded position off Station Road in the heart of the village of Pulham St. Mary in South Norfolk. The house was completed in November 2009, having been completely re-wired and re-plumbed, and has an energy-efficient heating system, high-quality kitchen with modern appliances, ideal standard bathroom, WC/cloakroom and three double bedrooms. |
Upper floor |
The house is unusual in that the open plan living accommodation is upstairs, comprising a large lounge with a sofa, sofa bed, single chair, hi-fi system, and TV/DVD player with freeview; a cloakroom and separate WC; a dining area with a large rustic-style dining table and 8 chairs; and a modern kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer and dishwasher. The dining room patio doors open onto a balcony which overlooks the communal rear courtyard. |
Ground floor |
Downstairs are three large double bedrooms with wardrobes, and a bathroom with WC and rain shower. |
Outside |
The entrance stairs lead up to the front door and down to a spacious sunken paved garden where one can sit out or play games. When the development is complete (c. end-2010), there will also be access to a communal meadow where ball games will be possible. |
Parking |
The house has two parking spaces immediately in front of the entrance staircase. They are marked with no. 10 on the tarmac. To exit the car park, drive through the arch to the right of no.11 and follow the one-way system back to Station Road. |
